All our fish is fresh and from sustainable sources. We cook fish to order so that it isn't left to dry out under lights like in too many chip shops. (Kerbisher Fish)
Our potatoes are from local farmers and we pride ourselves on using the best and freshest ingredients.
We peel and cut the potatoes ourselves (no ordering pre-cut chips loaded with preservatives) and fry them twice at different temperatures (making sure we chill them down after the first fry). Double frying gives the chips that crunchy exterior and fluffy, well-flavoured interior that defines a classic chip. We don't serve thin fries or gastropub fat chips, just the traditional British chip. (Kerbisher Chips)
No preservatives or food from a packet. We make all our own sauces (apart from the ketchup), batters and mushy peas.
We've even brewed our own beer - (Kerbisher Pale Ale)
Our menu is the same for eat-in and takeaway and offers all the classic fish and chip shop dishes. If there's anything you'd like to see on the menu please let us know!
We are licensed to sell alcohol to customers eating in our shop.
